Why do I get an error message when installing "Intel Application Accelerator driver" from my installation CD?

Intel Application Accelerator driver can only be installed when there are two SATA HDDs forming RAID0 or RAID1. The purpose of it is to increase the performance of RAID function of the ICH5R south bridge.
